Counselling and Psychotherapy
I work face-to-face with individual adult clients. My intention is to offer a confidential, safe, non-judgemental place for you to explore your concerns, troubles, hopes and fears.
Along with space to talk, express and listen, many of my clients find breathing and mindfulness practices, visualisation, dream work, imagery, art and other forms of creative expression very helpful. For some clients, working with the body and sound is a powerful and releasing way to make discoveries about themselves.
I draw from a range of therapeutic schools, traditions and practices. This means the way we work is unique to you, supporting you to make the changes you want to make, increase your self-awareness, and/or to meet the goals you have set yourself.
There is no fixed agenda or technique. Everyone is different - I am guided by your needs. We always agree together how we work. You set the pace - it is your time, your space.
I adhere to the ethical framework of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and am a student member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I have professional indemnity insurance and am fully supervised. I am in the final stages of post-graduate training in transpersonal integrative psychotherapy, with over 1000 hours of working with clients.
